We use glass ornaments all year long.. and Spring ideas are plenty!

See below for a few of our favorites from Pinterest!

Use a CLEAR glass ornament, preferably in 3 1/4" size or above.

Remove the cap and set aside.

Place a few Spring plantings, small enough for the neck of the ornament.  

(A few examples may be moss, small sticks, small pebbles, coral, greens, cacti, etc).  Many miniatures can be found at your local craft store.

Use tweezers to place the material.  Replace cap on ornament.  You may want to glue the cap on for safety purposes, due to weight.   As these are glass, carefully hang them with a nice ribbon.

*keep out of the way of small children

New Beginnings!

 

 

New Beginnings... New Babies...

 

 

Although my kids are growing up way too fast, my extended family is growing and adding by leaps and bounds...

 

As of the first of July, we have added 2 new bundles and another is due in September! I literally can't wait until Christmas to hold all these new bundles of joy!

 

 

 

For everyone with newborns in their lives, first Christmas gifts are big!  A token of love and affection to remember and hand down when the child grows up.

The Ides of March!

The Ides of March.....

A favorite in our house... first the parade and party on the Saturday before, then the Corn Beef and Irish music on Monday, the 17th  at our favorite Irish bar!  It is a month long celebration in our house!

2 years ago, the St. Patrick's Day parade was a shorts and short sleeve kind of a day.  A good old fashioned lawn party!  This year, I don't think we will be so lucky.   Temperatures are still below the average for March and snow if literally still falling as I write this!

Either way, we celebrate the fun of being Irish and welcome any little tiny sign of Spring to come soon!

Packing an order for a customer!

This year we had the privilege of working with many decorators and designers for some of the Holiday magazines you see on the shelves in the grocery stores, along with our new and seasoned customers!  Whitehurst LOVES working with everyone and shipping out these beautiful colors year round, but the push is on now for the Holidays!  Keep those orders coming...
